Let's Try This Again

Since "Pick a date and see who shows up" didn't work so well, let's try this:

Anyone who would like to participate in the metaphorical Potlucks I outlined previously, please let me know when some good times to meet will be in the next few weeks. It would be a shame for something amazing to fail to happen because everyone involved was too busy.

As I mentioned before, Thursday is best, followed by Wednesday. And that goes ditto for Varina & Eric. And possibly Christine. And a few others that don't do LJ. I announced it at OFM but no one came back to me for more info, though some sounded quite interested. I had even printed out the web page you made in case they wanted more info. But it was a rainy snowy OFM and not a lot of people were there. I'd reccomend sending it to the dfdiscuss list too.

Weekends are horrible for us unless notified at least a month or more in advance - yes we are that busy on weekends. Dark Art Festival is on Memorial day, so a bunch of us are going to that - mostly to see noise625 perform (shameless plug - very long time old friend - go see him, he's great). May 14- 16 is so busy its not worth trying (OPUS con, sister's college grad, friend's college grad, DFest mtg, BELMAR grand opening - we could go on). We have a Maquis meeting on May 23, planning the LARP. Come join us at the park! The LARP is June 5th at Pecos park (96th & Pecos) from noon until whenever. Its a picnic so bring something to grill and something to share and participate (or not) in a wonderful LARP story followed by a mini Bat'leth tourney...
