From [livejournal.com profile] alphabet_soup, How well do you know your ABC's? Oddly, the source is 1890s France, but the add is for Russian Brides. I wonder if I can mail myself to a French mistress...

"Let me help you!" said the rabbit to the fish, as he pulled him out of the water and into a tree. "You might drown!" -- Alan Watts. I was having trouble waking up, but I think he was talking about how different people solve problems in different ways.

I'd like to buy a vowel... or a Russian bride

I'll never look at my name in quite the same way...

Also, have you ever read the book Fish is Fish by Leo Leoni? Your fish/rabbit quote reminded me of it.

I want somebody to make that into a useable font. (It would have to be a kind of BIG font, but it would be so cool.) Those are spectacular.

Wow, that's *so* awesome. I want to find some reason to use those now. Although, I suppose I could just point my friend Steve, who is convinced that "kids these days" are just obsessed with sex, and this kind of 'unnatural' amount of time spent thinking about/having sex is totally unprecedented by history, to the site. :P

I think he was talking about how different people solve problems in different ways.

More extreme than that; it's more about how someone insufficiently familiar with a situation can see a problem where there isn't one at all.
