Virtue ethics, generally stated, state that one should do what makes one a virtuous person, because a virtuous person does good things. The aim is to craft a specific or general individual, because that's a better individual to be.

Suppose we cast that into a society. People take those actions which make the society a virtuous one, however defined, so that the society may then do the right things.
