A Little Pressure

At her sister's wedding, we told tamheals's dad and step mom they should come visit us in Colorado. He told us "Tell you what. If you get married, we'll come out."

Today on the phone, her mom told her "Does he know you come with a dowry?"
Joking about this tonight, Tamara hit on a better version: "Does he know you come with diarrhea?"

However, my liberal guilt gets me when I think about obtaining privileges denied to some of my friends, like shared insurance, joint tax filing, and adultery.

Don't worry, though. I think a good rule of thumb is "never marry someone you haven't known for a full year, you never know on what day they'll turn into a pumpkin."
