Date: 2003-11-07 07:16 am (UTC)I've seen lots of domestic violence cases where the abuser tells falsehoods without a grain of truth and because of it, beats [insert other abuse here] the victim, sometimes to the death. That is cruel. Where is the truth?
I think you would be more accurate to say "a lot of cruelty doesn't exist without truth of some kind" rather than a blanket statement because there are levels/shades of cruelty.
