Ari Fleischer is no longer the White House press secretary, and will start his own company to advise companies how to handle the news media. Given the general lack of critical examination of administration policies and action, I'd say he's done a pretty good job, almost meeting Clinton's standard. As Russell Mokhiber has shown, he's very good at being slippery and equivocating biting questions. He's done a better job as "Bush's mouth" than Bush (who has recently challenged Iraqis to attack U.S. troops and lied about obvious portions of recent history).

I wonder if there Scott McLellan will have as adoring a fan club or follow Ari's Commandments. Just in time for the release of Ari 4.0.
