Sounds like the whole process, from beginning to end, has been done with caring and concern for each other as decent, likable and lovable human beings, and with respect and consideration for each other. There are many worse ways to handle a marriage; I've experienced a few of them with my first marriage. Good lessons to use on the second marriage, but not fun to live through.
