It's beautiful and saddening because it's True. It doesn't have jazzy graphics, it's not pimping some ideology, it's not trying to make money on people's shock. It just provides glimpses - snapshots - of what went through people's minds almost a year ago. And snapshots is what we have of the events. An image blazened in our brains of two pillars of capitalist concrete spewing forth flames and smoke. Ford's poem is brilliantly crafted -- it's form is inspired, and each sentence gives the reader a complete picture of one person's (and thereby many people's) state of mind.
