Those Christians, They're Wacky
Tuesday, March 1st, 2005 10:53 pmMary Poppins is perhaps the witchiest movie I've seen in a long time. Of course, the ChildCare Action Project claims "While there were several occurences of "magic," there was nothing evil or sinister about any of the "magic." Mary could have been angelic," in the progress of granting a 100 WISDOM rating. They were not so generous to Spirited Away, though. The Passion of the Christ, on the other hand, managed a 69, mostl due to a 0 in Wanton Violence/Crime. Dogma got a 6, South Park got a 29, despite 119 four letter words and 11 uses of God's name in vain. They have not yet reviewed Orgazmo or the Craft. But somehow Rocky Horror got a 67, despite "homosexual song/talk/dance/presence/practices" and "adults in underwear," and "suggestion of cannibalism (of Meatloaf)." If meatloaf eats meatloaf, does it get mad meat disease?
