A LiveJournal Post About LiveJournal
Thursday, July 10th, 2003 01:25 amWell I got me a hat and old guitar
And I made a down payment on a second hand car
I got me a job on the radio
Now I'm saving up money for a fiddle and a bow
Do the radio boogie
All over the dial
With a solid kick and a red hot lick
And some Tennessee style
Well early in the mountain when the sun comes up
I pull the cork from the jug and I take a little sup
If the sun keeps a-shining I'll plow the corn
If it stars to rain I'll just grind it in the barn
Well I call my gal on the telephone
What you doing honey are you all alone
Come on over about an hour or so
And we'll both do the boogie by the radio
Yes I got a job in a hillbilly band
I got brand new clothes I got money to spend
And everbody asks me where we play
The radio boogie's all they can say

I got a paid account a little while ago. The first thing I did was create a style that doesn't use tables at all, but which looks quite a bit like the style I was already using. (I'm kind of hard core in web design and think tables should only be used for conveying tabular data.) The style's public, though it needs a little work and has hard-coded links to my friends filters. And I made a down payment on a second hand car

Then I uploaded a couple user pics I didn't have space for. The one accompanying this position is my "inner maiden" pic.
Then I added a couple RSS feeds and changed style system. Then this evening, while I was trying to find a style modification link in S2, I had to try in the Site Map where I discovered the raw list of RSS feeds. I think I added about 30 to my friends list. Mostly comics.
I should check out web site maps more often. You never know what cool stuff they've created that they neglect to make obvious.
I'll try to do a "what's up in my life" post this weekend. And I keep meaning to do a CWA post. Good thing I took notes.
