Fatherly Love
Tuesday, June 3rd, 2003 01:53 pmSome Christians say that God wants to love you, but can't until you accept Jesus Christ. But consider another heavenly father.
The Sun God loves everyone equally. He cares not who you are nor what you've done nor how you receive him; he delivers his bounty unto you nonetheless. He radiates forth light, heat, and energy to everyone, for he loves them all. All receive the Sun God's gifts in their own ways.
Those who stand closest feel the Sun God's love the fiercest, but you must run very far indeed to escape his love. For the Sun God loves no less with each one more whom he loves.
Some try to hide from the Sun God's sight, but they cannot escape his love. For those who receive the Sun God's love transmute it to their own, and spread the flame to those who would hide.
The Sun God so loved the Earth Goddess and she grew into fertility. Together, they bear many children. Yet the Sun God cannot love but one, and has a mistress nearby. The Moon Goddes bears not the mark of fertility. She reflects the love of the Sun God, that her nieces and nephews may feel a softer love when they hide from the firey intensity of their father's love.
