Confusion of Terms

NPR's Morning Edition this morning had the following entertaining error:

"Somalia has not had a government since 1991 when warlords overthrew the president. The warlords then turned to infighting, leaving the country in monarchy."

So I didn't hear that wrong... thank you for clarifying that. That was driving me nuts for a few minutes.

Nothing says "utter chaos" like "monarchy"

It makes perfect sense because warlordism is the same as monarchy.
