Well, my Elizabethan Curse Generator got a short mention in Monday's Sacramento Bee. For code I wrote in about 45 minutes while working through Learning Perl (and since translated to PHP), the curse program has performed quite admirably, thou peevish bat-fowling ratsbane!

I think it would be fun to translate it into every programming language I can, largely as a way to experiment with what some of the interesting languages have to offer.

I _love_ Perl for manipulating text. It seems to me that it's the best of breed language for using regular expressions.

By the by, I come to you via thor_cat and mythicsagefire, and I friended you. Anybody who uses an Elizabethan cures generator to learn Perl is not to be passed up. ;)
