Salon has an interesting and intriguing interview/book discussion with Bill Ellis, author of Lucifer Ascending: The Occult in Folkore and Popular Culture. He explains, among other things, why American Evangelicals find a connection between Bin Laden and Hussein (they're both working for the Devil), how the Pentacostal experience is not much different from Drawing Down, and why religious fundies are so anti-Harry Potter (thanks to The Onion).
