God of Nouns

Monotheism is the belief that "God" is a proper noun.

Polytheism is the belief that "God" is a count noun.

Pantheism is the belief that "God" is a mass noun.

Polyatheism is the belief that "God" can be any part of speech as long as it helps communicate.

amen.

One of my favourite usages in fact is, "I play God". And when I'm feeling a bit less antagonistic I use God to mean simply everyone and everything. Being a zen groupie has left me with the belief that I'm god, you're god, that McDonald's bag blowing across the street is god. Every bit of the universe is glorious with no part more sacred than the others.

What's the belief that "God" is a verb?
